Thanks, David. And thanks for subscribing and reading. It's by sheer coincidence I chose to write about the subject this week. It had been on my mind because of Brinkley's history, and while I know people are upset about what's taking place at Little Crescent Beach, that just happened to come up this week while I was framing my post on coastal protection, which - as I stated - I think is a much larger issue at this point. I think I may add another note to this effect to next week's newsletter.
We had our first Robin sighting Thursday, then Friday we got three more inches of snow. Will this winter ever end?!? I see the birds as hopeful beacons, like Noah's dove looking for a branch on which to perch.
People are really inflamed over Crescent Beach at the moment; but it's one of many, but definitely a flashpoint that's caused a lot of attention in the last week. It's completely coincidental that I intended to write about coastal issues this week. And, you're most welcome for the cross-post.
Great post. You might be right about the birds figuring out that no more hunting is happening on your 64 acres. It's a reasonable hypothesis.
It's hard to say. Like I note, it could be just an "up" year. Certainly enjoying it either way. Thanks, Ken.
I know my black walnut tree has an 'up ' year, every 4 years.

Good Reminder that we are still waiting on Coastal Protection regs. Thx.

Yes, we just had some sleet/snow again this morning. It's all part of spring, all good.
Love it. Very interesting about the coastal issues, we have similar issues here. Thanks for the shout out.

Beautiful rock wall at Crescent Beach. I luv it !
We don't want any Turbines in the Bay of Fundy because they are proven fishkillers.
