Solar lights at our property at sunset. Leaving the grid is a subversive and revolutionary act. It might not seem like it, but the banks don’t want you off the grid. Neither does the power company. The former won’t mortgage off-grid homes, and the latter does everything in its power to prevent people from leaving the grid.
Hi Charles. I saw something on Nova PBS called Chasing Carbon Zero . It was actually hopeful. But maybe there were a lot less regulations where these examples were taken.

Can’t wait to power our farm with solar and a small turbine. It’s a 10 year goal. Happy to see the hurdles are being removed.
Let's hope by then the process has become much easier. It's ludicrous that so many barriers currently exist.
