We’re not going anywhere today. A Nor’Easter blew through last night dumping an estimated 30 centimetres of snow. Steph managed to clear about half-a-kilometre of our lane using the tractor while I shovelled out various pathways. But we’ll have to wait for the plowing service to arrive tomorrow.
In the afternoon we took the dogs and walked the two-and-a-quarter kilometre length of our lane, a former logging road, out and back. I also wandered through the property to get a few pictures.
The Middle House.
The brook out back.
The Peach House.
Just a little bit of snow….
The pond.
With the short days and lack of sun, we’ve had to carefully conserve power.
A solar light attached to the wood shed.
Out along our lane.
Jim and Cleo, the two dogs of the Two Dogs Marshlands, out along our lane.
Great photos, Charles!
